Are you recently retired looking to exercise your brain or are you a weary worker with a need for something a bit different? If so, it could be that local learning is the answer.

Groups are popping up in communities throughout the UK aiming to teach a wide variety of subjects. Whatever your background, there are opportunities to learn something new or even pass on your knowledge to others. You may not feel that you have anything to share, but this is not the case. Whether you have a profession to share, have green fingered gardening tips or a local history expert you can help your local community.

Furthermore if you are the one who wants to learn something new, involving other people is a great way of keeping motivated.

The Learning Revolutionaries project aims to encourage people to learn from each other. Whether you want to set up a learning group with neighbours or attend an already established group, the possibilities are endless. Whatever your interest, be it computing or painting, there will be something to suit you and if there isn’t; create one!

So whether you are looking to pass on your skills to others or are keen to develop your own knowledge, watch this live webTV show where Mohammed Aslam from the WEA will be giving his tips on how to get involved and what is available.

Mohammed Aslam joins us live online at www.studiotalk.tv on 1st December at 15:00 to discuss further learning
