On 5 May 2011 the country goes to the polls for the first time since the General Election. Local elections are being held in many parts of England. National elections are taking place in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom has the chance to vote in a referendum on the Alternative Vote system.

On the eve of polling, CIPR TV will host a debate on how successful the campaigns were and the implications of the possible results for practitioners in public affairs and public relations more generally. CIPR TV host Stephen Waddington and guest presenter David Singleton, Associate Editor of PR Week, will be joined by Iain Anderson of Cicero Consulting, John Lehal of Insight Public Affairs and Simon Goldie of LexisNexis. The panel will discuss the implications of the elections in all parts of the UK and the impact of the potential outcomes on the political landscape.

The show will be broadcast on 4 May 2011 at 5pm.

If you'd like to put a question to Iain, John or Simon, please submit it via the question box below or tweet using the hashtag #ciprtv.
