Are you filled with dread by the mere mention of the words ‘Valentine’s Day’? Does the idea of having to plan a romantic evening with your partner leave you feeling intimidated rather than intimate? Are you worried that a poor performance that night could strain your relationship? If so, take comfort in the fact that you are not alone.New research from SortED in 10 reveals that 1 in 3 men feel enormous pressure to be romantic on Valentine’s Day. Mature men in particular find Valentine’s Day more problematic that pleasurable.

More than half felt that Valentine’s Day had become too commercialised and over a quarter were just bored by the whole Valentine’s Day drama. Do men just become more complacent about romance as the older they get? If so, why is this? The real answer could lie in performance anxiety. More than one in ten of the men questioned had suffered from impotence or erectile dysfunction (ED), which could be why they aren’t so keen to initiate romance and may be worried as about letting their partner down. It is perhaps a little known fact that every year National Impotence Day also falls on February 14th. So this year, join our guests to find out how you can overcome this problem and re-ignite your passion on Valentine’s Day.
